I have been saving a pile of t-shirts from a variety of events I have attended over the past few years. I knew exactly what I wanted to create with all of these shirts, but still they just sat around. I figured with my show Art & Activism soon approaching, this would be the perfect time… Using Etsy, I found MilaLem and sent her a box of t shirts.

Throughout the  week we would exchange messages until the dress was just so.. She was wonderful to work with and I highly recommend her work. It was the perfect piece to wear on a night celebrating Chicago activism and the work Fred Klonsky and I have created in support of the many, too many issues happening in Chicago.
